It is very easy to display Jira issues in the Servado Enterprise Portal.
Servado Enterprise Portals enables administrators to display contents of Jira issues on a Portal. And you do this by using a tile with the Issue Info command. The beauty of this presentation is that that no coding is required. You just use plain, old JQL 🙂 And now learning to use Servado became easier.
You are not limited to just one tab on this tile. In the picture below, we see example of two tabs (“Open Issues” and “Closed Issues”). It is totally up to you, how many tabs there are.
Therefore, Servado portals are a brilliant way to classify information by JQL and present to your users. This answers the question: how do I show issues in Jira? 🙂
The possible use cases are almost endless. Not quite. But that, of course, depends on the setup of your Jira system. You can use the Servado Portal for Service Issues, IT Assets, Purchase Requests, Housing Issues, Employment Issues, etc. So really, the use of Jira for tracking “stuff” is only limited by your imagination. And that is always a good thing!
The Handbook has instructions for the actual configuring of Issue Info tiles. And also, you might be interested in this JQL article. Your users will love you for helping them find their issues easier.
